I saw them around 1979 at the Arcadia Ballroom in Cork City .They were't that great. The guitar player stood out. I got Boy because '11 O' Clock Tick Tock' was top of the weekly Playlist in Sounds. I didn't go near October or 'WAR' and The Unforgettable Fire was a Christmas present that I hardly listened to.....I liked the The Joshua Tree and let the hype surrounding Rattle and Hum get the better of me....Achtung Baby, Zooropa and POP are all good. I went to see Zoo Tv at Cardiff Arms Park. The Show on the night is the be all to end all of Stadium enterainment. POPMART at Wembley was aother awesome outdoor experience. .....'All That You Can't Leave Behind' and 'How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' are neck and neck in the race for the worst album ever prize.....After a few listens the new single now sounds ok. I won't be getting ' No Line On The Horizon'... !!!... Fuck, ..!! ...,who am I kidding ! When I see the Album in the shops I will buy it. I'm weak !..".Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in."....The fuckers...
